Yes. Mese and his wife Anna Marie have been married for 22 years in 2026 and have had 7 kids together.

Mese was discovered online by Michael St James of St James Media in 2007 and was signed to a 2 year contract. When the contract ended he was asked if he wanted to extend his contract. Anna Marie asked him to look for a job that could take care of the bills (it takes a lot longer than people expect to get your songs to the right people as a songwriter). A few months later, Anna Marie and Mese started Gwen Marlowe Foods & Catering.
